Built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the Grand Palais has seen regular renovations, with the latest to be completed in 2023. It will enable Paris 2024 to benefit from a magnificent venue that regularly hosts major events, in a breathtaking setting. For instance, the Grand Palais hosted the World Fencing Championships in 2010, and has been the stage for the Saut Hermès international show jumping competition since 2009. In 2024 it will host fencing and taekwondo.

- Metro 1 - "Franklin D. Roosevelt" station, then a 450 m walk to reach the venue
- Train RER C - "Invalides" station, then walk 400m to reach the venue
- Metro 8 e 13 - "Invalides" station, then 600 m walk to reach the venue
Legacy Paris 2024
Following Paris 2024, the Grand Palais, which will reopen fully in spring 2025, will continue to host a number of cultural events throughout the year, from arts to sports, in a magnificent setting at the heart of the world’s most beautiful city.
