Diving, 3m springboard: gold medal for Chiara Pellacani, who also wins a pass for Paris 2024

Chiara Pellacani’s gold-medal dive takes Italy to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Italian won the competition from the 3m springboard at the European Games in Krakow, winning, in addition to the medal, a national place at the forthcoming Olympics.

The 20-year-old from Rome finished with a score of 321.45. Behind her was the silver medallist, Sweden’s Emilia Ays Nilsson Garip (316.60). Switzerland’s Michelle Luisa Heimberg rounded out the podium with a score of 306.70.
