Biography
Water polo unites him and his two brothers. Together with the eldest Christian, he shared the Olympic experience in Rio 2016, which culminated in Italy winning the bronze medal. In 2019, he did not take part in the Settebello's world championship triumph in Gwangju due to a shoulder operation, but three years later he made up for it partially in Budapest, placing silver around his neck. In his life he also sets aside a lot of time for football. A big fan of AS Roma, as soon as his competitive commitments allow, he loves going to the stadium to watch the matches, and his idols are former Giallorossi captains Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi. He has a diploma in hospitality and therefore also enjoys cooking, especially Roman dishes. In private he is cheerful and playful, but in the swimming pool or in the gym he wastes no time in getting down to business. Passion and motivation have always been the driving force behind his career and life. Driven by these qualities, in Paris 2024 he wants to fulfil his childhood dream: to win the Olympic Games.
