Biography
Talented and versatile, at the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games he stole the show by winning five medals, including the Olympic title in the 50m freestyle. As an adult, he continued in the same vein: in Tokyo 2020, he claimed a silver and bronze in the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m mixed relays respectively, with World and European Championships allowing him to comfortably reach double figures for career medals. In Paris 2024 his aim will be a first Olympic gold medal among the greats.
