Biography
He established himself at an international level very early on, while keeping a steady eye on his academic career. For three years, he studied at Northwestern University in Chicago and graduated in Mathematics and Statistics. He got a taste of Olympic experience as early as 2018 at the Youth Games in Buenos Aires. Three years later, competing with the seniors, he finished with two bronze medals around his neck at Tokyo 2020: one in the 200 butterfly and the other in the 4x100 medley. In the water, he brings obstinacy, tenacity and determination, three qualities that, among other things, have helped him to win a world gold medal, a European gold medal and three other podiums at European level. Aware that there is more to life than swimming, he is also a young man full of plans and ambitions outside the pool. In the future, despite being a lover of Italy and good food, he makes clear his desire to pursue a career in the United States. At the moment, however, his mind and willpower are focused on Paris 2024, where he wants to prove his worth in the swimming lane.
