Biography
A lively child who could never sit still, her parents tried to calm her down by enrolling her in judo and, at the same time, in three other sports. During middle school she finally chose the tatami and at 17 decided to take the plunge. From Brescia, she moved to Rome, which gave her the opportunity to grow on a human level and learn to cope on her own. Her magic year came in 2018, when she won the European and world titles, successes that underlined her transition from junior to senior. The greatest satisfactions of her career came in the new category up to 78 kg, where she reached the European podium twice and the world podium once. She loves animals and is passionate about tattoos, while travelling helps her to recharge her batteries and prepare for new exploits. Polite and respectful of her opponents and imbued with positive values, her next exploit will take place on the Olympic tatami in Paris 2024.
