Biography
Judo is the common denominator in his family. In fact, he has always worked on his talent thanks to his father Raffaele's advice and wise guidance. Hailing from the Palavesuvio in Ponticelli, he honed his skills with the o-uchi-gari, eventually rising to prominence on the global stage after securing the junior world championship title in 2018 in the Bahamas. After numerous achievements at youth level, he managed to take the stage at senior level too, where he can boast a European bronze in the -81 kg and a world silver in the new category up to 90 kg. Over the years he has proved himself to be one of the movement's most consistent performers, who has always interpreted judo as a philosophy of life, turning every goal into a new starting point. In Paris 2024 he wants to bring all his bravado and confidence to the tatami in an attempt to grab the only podium that still eludes his collection: the Olympic podium.
