Biography
The tatami is where he was born into the sport. At the age of six, he found his way to Akiyama in Settimo Torinese, yet his fascination with judo had begun three years prior, captivated by his brother Daniel's sessions. At the beginning, this sport represented his after-school activity, a way, like many others, to have fun and be sociable. Today, however, it is both his job and his passion, an indispensable part of his life. His career includes the European title he won in 2021 and two world silver medals, the second won in the new category up to 73 kg. In Paris 2024 he wants to try to emulate the feat of his friend Fabio Basile, who won the gold medal in Rio 2016 in the -66 kg. A young man of great willpower in constant pursuit of perfection, he excels in title competitions: the rest are “test matches”. He was always destined for glory.
