Biography

Gymnastics was a passion transmitted to her by her parents. The spark was ignited by watching some videos about Romanian multiple Olympic medallist Nadia Comăneci. Her favourite apparatus is the asymmetrical parallel bars. Her qualities began to draw attention and in 2017 she began attending the Brixia Academy, under the guidance of coach Enrico Casella. In 2018, she won team gold and bronze in the beam at the European Junior Championships in Glasgow, a prelude to her international debut among the senior competitors. The following year came the first prestigious result of her young career, a historic bronze medal in the overall team competition. In 2022 she virtually did not compete due to shoulder surgery. She remained positive and, thanks to her usual ferocious competitiveness, bounced back at the 2023 World Championships in Belgium, where she formed part of the team that achieved the Olympic pass. And the following year she fiveist two sparkling medals at the European Championships in Rimini. Now she refuses to impose limits on herself and dreams of taking Italy to new heights at Paris 2024.
