Biography
Silvia Terrazzi’s rowing journey began in 2009 with Canottieri Arno in Pisa. As a junior, she won two World bronzes in the eight and a European gold in the coxless four. Although she was a reserve at the 2017 World Championships, two years later, she helped the quad scull qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Games. Her first Olympic appearance, however, will be in Paris, achieved through consistent progress with the eight, including two European bronze medals and a World Cup win in Varese at the start of the Olympic year. Besides spending many hours in the gym, Silvia enjoys other sports, such as skiing and cycling. When not competing internationally, she loves baking, especially desserts, and has a deep passion for animals, particularly cats. She arrives at the French Olympics primarily to surprise herself, along with the whole of Italy.
