Biography
In 2015, he was a junior gold medallist at the World and European Championships in single sculls, and then switched to quadruple sculls in the overall category, winning the European (2018, 2021 and 2022) and World (2018) championship titles. Had he not taken up rowing, he would have liked to become a rugby player, but it was his father who showed him the way by inviting him to row in Cremona’s Bissolati club. Then, when his talent became evident and his passion grew stronger, he decided to enter Piediluco College, with the opportunity to study and train with the group of Agostino Abbagnale, his role model. After his fifth place in Tokyo 2020, he and his teammates will try to stand out in Paris.
