Biography
Ready to take centre stage at Paris 2024, Clara is set to compete as a main participant in these Games, having served as a reserve at Tokyo 2020. This honour is a testament to her achievements in a career that, although relatively short, is already filled with successes and hopes for the future. She began her journey in the single scull, where at the World Championships she won U19 gold, a senior lightweight silver, an U23 silver, and two U23 bronzes, one in lightweight and one in heavyweight categories. She then became a valuable asset to the quadruple scull, and in 2019, she was part of the Italian crew at the World Championships in Linz, helping secure the country’s place for the Tokyo Olympics. Her first experience in a boat was with her father, who became her first coach. She is also in a relationship with Catello Amarante, a former rower with a distinguished career in the Italian team. Determined and focused, when she sets her mind on something, nothing can divert her from her goal: to win a medal in France.
