Biography
She was introduced to tennis at around the age of ten at a small club near her home. Before starting, she practiced various other sports: from rhythmic gymnastics to volleyball to basketball. After finishing school, she made the courageous choice to leave her family, moving to the Roman coast to join the Piccari brothers' academy in Anzio. From here began her ascent, which in 2023 led her to win her first WTA title on the clay courts of Rabat, reach the third round at the US Open and make the Billie Jean King Cup final with Italy. Her best ranking is world No. 46, but her dreams are to enter the top ten for the first time and win a Grand Slam, just like her idol Flavia Pennetta. Tennis and gym workouts fill most of her days, but when she can, she tries to recharge her batteries with a TV series or a movie. Her values are dedication, simplicity and enthusiasm, a mix that may also be decisive in Paris 2024.
