Biography
He began practicing shooting in his hometown of Reggio Calabria during middle school. A few years later, the 25m rapid-fire pistol ignited a spark within him, and it’s a discipline he particularly loves for its spectacular nature. His sport has always been a continuous challenge with himself and his fears, but he thinks only of dominating negative thoughts and hitting the target, trying to follow in the footsteps of two icons of the discipline: the Italian Roberto Di Donna and the German Ralf Schumann. In life, he also follows football, basketball and athletics, and has a soft spot for cars. In 2019, he won the silver medal in the men's 25m rapid-fire pistol at the European Junior Championships in Bologna, while in February 2023 he fulfilled one of his two dreams by triumphing in a World Cup stage in Cairo. The other, needless to say, is to put an Olympic medal around his neck at the Paris Games.
