Biography
For Leonardo, rowing means sacrifice, joy and emotions. He developed his competitive edge at SC Firenze, where he spent the early years of his sporting career, winning his first meetings and championships and proudly receiving his initial call-ups to the senior national team. His most prestigious achievements come with the eight, where he claimed double bronze at the World Championships in Sarasota in 2017 and the European Championships in Munich in 2022. Outside training, Leonardo enjoys a normal life, relishing fun and going out with friends, which helps him balance his professional and personal spheres. Through his crew’s achievements, he hopes to garner more support for rowing, a discipline that imparts valuable principles and healthy values, especially to young people. After successfully passing many tests, he and his teammates now face the ultimate challenge: the Paris 2024 Olympics.
