Biography
Born in Naples, Alessandra began rowing at the historic Circolo Nautico Posillipo. In 2022, she was the coxswain of the women's coxed four that won silver at the U23 World Championships. After a brief stint with the women's eight, where she narrowly missed the podium at the European Championships in Munich, she was thrust into the men's eight, with which she twice came close to the continental podium, first in Bled in 2023 and then in Szeged in 2024. Her true masterpiece came a month later at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, where she led her crew to secure a spot for the Summer Games in Paris. In her free time, she enjoys watching her home soccer team, Napoli: both on television and, when not travelling with the national team, at the stadium.
