Biography
He came to the world of sport through football and basketball. At the age of 16, he started boxing, driven by a desire to practise a discipline in which the responsibility for defeat fell exclusively on himself. He was immediately noticed by the national team, which called him up for their youth retreats. Distracted by typical teenage passions, at the age of 19 he decided to take a break before making a full comeback in February 2022, when he decided to sacrifice time, evenings out and friendships to devote himself exclusively to training and competitions. His boxing idol is the Mexican superstar Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán, known as “Canelo”, and his strengths are his explosiveness and physical endurance. He is now looking forward to stepping into the ring in Paris 2024 to try to make a dream he has had since childhood come true: to win out against everyone.
