Biography
Born to a Piedmontese father and a Nigerian mother, she is one of the most purest talents in Italian swimming. Fast and versatile, freestyle has always been perfect for her explosiveness. She seized the spotlight in July 2023, when she secured three gold and two silver medals at the European Junior Championships in Belgrade in individual competitions and relays. Out of the pool, she is humble and enjoys spending her free time in the company of family and friends. A student at the Istituto Tecnico Economico e Turistico in her hometown Savigliano, she was inspired by the legend of Marco Orsi, her favourite swimmer. At the 2024 spring Open Championships in Riccione, she clinched an individual pass for the Olympic Games in the 50m freestyle, surpassing Silvia Di Pietro's Italian record and setting a new European junior-level record. She is the youngest Italian in the pool in Paris, but is dreaming big.
