Biography
He started out as a competitive swimmer. Between the ages of 19 and 23, however, he experienced a moment of crisis and decided to leave sport and his home to learn more about the world but, above all, about himself. Spain, England and New Zealand were the countries he lived in before his definitive return to Italy due to his father's serious illness. He returned to sport and, after purchasing a bicycle, discovered the triathlon, choosing to join the DDS-7MP Triathlon Team of Fabio Vedana and Simone Diamantini. Despite his advanced age, he achieved his best results between 2019 and 2023, when he won three Italian titles. In September of the same year, he was third in the race in Valencia, where he achieved his first World Cup podium. In his spare time he enjoys reading and has a passion for cooking, especially lasagne and pasta alla carbonara. At the age of 36, he wants to fully enjoy his Olympic debut in Paris 2024, which he is approaching with awareness and a great desire to succeed.
