Biography
She has many years of swimming in the pool behind her. At the end of middle school, however, fed up with the water and the closed, stressful environment, she made the decision to stop. At the beginning of 2016, she missed those sensations again, but chose to resume them by integrating cycling and running into her training. Her first major results came in the aquathlon, in which she won four individual gold medals, including three at European level between 2018 and 2021 and one at the World Youth Championships in 2019. In 2023, after a few months off due to an injury, she also made her name in triathlon, becoming the first Italian woman in history to win three stages on the World Cup circuit and qualifying for the Olympic Games for the first time in her career. A student of Psychology at university, she is ready to play her cards right in Paris 2024, without forgetting the motto that has always accompanied her: “Enjoy every moment”.
