Biography
He took his first steps at the Salerno Fencing Club where, driven by his desire to emulate Aldo Montano, individual Olympic gold medallist at Athens 2004, he chose to specialise in sabre. As the years went by, he established himself as one of the most promising youngsters on the national team, with which he won bronze and silver team medals in 2022 and 2023 respectively at the World Championships in Cairo and the European Games in Krakow. In between he underwent a delicate operation on his left leg, followed by his triumph on the Padua piste at the Luxardo Trophy, one of the oldest and most iconic events on the World Cup circuit. When he has time off from his commitments with the blue mask, he likes to travel with his girlfriend and follow Inter Milan’s matches, his favourite team. Paris 2024 is waiting for him to write an exciting new chapter of his career, the first one dedicated to the Olympics.
