Biography
He was born in Copenhagen to a Danish father and an Italian mother. A great sports fan, he follows everything from tennis to Formula 1 and curling. He began by swimming in a municipal pool but then, urged on by his grandfather, decided to give diving a serious try. In 2016 he stopped, but coach Benedetta Molaioli, whom he had met by chance years before at a youth competition and who learned of his dual citizenship, offered him the chance to move to Italy. A member of Aniene and Fiamme Oro, he went from Italian to Roman dialect in an instant, thanks in part to his support for AS Roma and unwavering attendance at the stadium’s Curva Sud. A connoisseur of ice cream and pizza, his natural habitat is the platform, where he came close to the podium at the European Championships in Rome in 2022 in both the individual and synchro competitions. A talented and reliable athlete, he boasts a European silver and gold medal in mixed team events. The Paris 2024 Games represent the crowning achievement of his exciting ascent to success.
