Biography
On social media he is called Planet Marini, and indeed outside the piste he is a world waiting to be discovered. Passionate about fashion (a sector in which his father works), he loves cinema, music, books, jewellery and tattoos and likes to travel, especially when he can do so without having to carry his fencing equipment. As a child he also practised horse riding, swimming and karate, but it was with foil that he discovered he had what it takes to be a champion. He has won world gold and European silver medals at individual level and has already stood on the top step of the podium with his teammates in the top world and European competitions. With his results pushing him centre stage, and thanks to his strong personality, he is ready for his Olympic debut.
