Biography
After a past in synchronised swimming, her father and mother, a surgeon and a nurse respectively, convinced her around the age of nine to try water polo. Over the years Bogliasco, Rapallo and now Catania have provided her with a showcase and allowed her to carve out a place for herself within the Setterosa team, with which she has won a European bronze medal and a world championship medal. An athlete with a big heart and a strong sense of humanity, during the Coronavirus pandemic that began in March 2020 she decided to take advantage of her nursing studies and began working at a Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly in Quinto, in the province of Genoa. Having always been accustomed to constant challenges in the swimming pool, she successfully managed to put her physical temperament and courage at the service of the most defenceless people. For some time now, fortunately, she has returned to practising her true discipline and now dreams of flying Italy's colours at the Paris 2024 Games.
