Biography
As a child, she practised swimming in a private pool. Encouraged by her teacher at the time, she approached water polo almost by chance and it was love at first sight. A precocious talent, for years she has been one of the spearheads of SIS Roma, with which she aims to win a Scudetto. After going through the youth national teams, she made her debut with the Setterosa in 2014. With the Azzurre, she proved her competitiveness and high-scoring percentage, managing to win a European bronze and a world bronze. Methodical and extremely organised, in October 2023 she obtained her master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at the Sapienza University of Rome with a final grade of 110 cum laude. In the future she sees herself in a laboratory but is now completely focused on Paris 2024 where, together with her teammates, she dreams of emulating the exploits of the Setterosa team that were Olympic champions in Athens in 2004.
