Biography
She began playing water polo as a centre back. She put on the red cap thanks to the intuition of Martina Miceli, a former Setterosa player and her current coach at Ekipe Orizzonte Catania. From that moment on, she has never left, earning her first call-ups with the senior national team, with which she won the European bronze medal in Split in 2022 and the world bronze in Fukuoka the following year. At the beginning of 2024, she also participated in the World Championships in Doha, where she helped her teammates qualify for the Paris Games. Smiling, courageous and combative, she is not afraid of making her debut in the Olympics, which she wants to use to prove her worth and to take off even further.
