Biography
Her adolescence was characterised by a marked sporting hyperactivity. After moving with her family to Camogli, she discovered her love of swimming. Upon her return to her hometown, she collaborated with her sister Beatrice Sophie (now retired to pursue her career) and other like-minded individuals to establish the team that now serves as her sanctuary – a place where she aspires to capture the coveted Scudetto: Pallanuoto Trieste. Her history with the senior national team, however, is already peppered with important achievements, above all the European bronze medal and above all the world bronze won in the summer of 2023 in Fukuoka. Sport has taught her discipline, sacrifice, but more than anything else how to manage time. With determination and stubbornness, in fact, she obtained her degree in Sports Science with top marks, giving rise to the motto that has always accompanied her: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”. Now, she refuses to relent in her pursuit of new challenges, and as Paris 2024 approaches, she stands poised for her long-awaited Olympic debut – a dream she has nurtured since childhood.
