Biography
He was born with talent, passion and a great desire to play water polo. At the age of 14, encouraged by his coach, he moved to Liguria, one of the few ways to grow professionally. He cut his teeth at Camogli before transferring to Pro Recco and his real breakthrough at Savona. Humble outside the pool but gladiatorial in the water because of his imposing physique, over the years he has proved himself to be an athlete of international calibre and a pillar of Alessandro Campagna's national team. With the Azzurri cap, his most important results came at Budapest 2022 and Doha 2024, where he was a major player in winning two silver medals at the World Championships. His Olympic debut in Paris is a well-deserved reward for the sacrifices of a lifetime. Now he has his next goal clearly in mind: to put Italy back on the Olympic podium.
