Biography
Born in 2001, Emanuele Capponi is the coxswain for the Italian women's eight, making history as they qualify for the Olympics for the first time. In 2021, he won European U23 gold in the quadruple sculls and has since accumulated three medals in junior categories. Between 2023 and 2024, Emanuele earned two consecutive European bronze medals with the women’s flagship crew. The pinnacle came in May, at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland, where they secured the coveted ticket to Paris 2024.
