Biography
Alice Gnatta discovered rowing in the fifth grade, abandoning ballet for the sport. She first joined Canottieri Lignano in 2014 before moving to the waters of the Po River with the University Sports Centre in Turin, seeking to raise her game. In December 2023, Alice transitioned to the Fiamme Gialle, marking her full-time entry into professional rowing. Her collection of medals includes a European bronze and a World silver in the U19 quadruple sculls. As a senior, she has twice claimed European bronze with the eight. Studying Educational Sciences, she remains closely connected to her family, often making long video calls while away from home for extended periods. A devoted music enthusiast, she has been a fan of Jovanotti for years. Her freshness and light-heartedness may be important factors in Paris 2024, where she comes to dream big.
