Biography
Davide began rowing at the age of 11, inspired by Italian single scullers Simone Martini and Gennaro Di Mauro. A fixture in the senior national team since 2017, he was part of the eight-man crew that clinched a bronze medal at the World Championships in Sarasota. For Davide, rowing is more than a sport; it's a way of life that has taught him perseverance and resilience. In 2022, he transitioned to double sculls and embarked on his single sculls journey in early 2023. Known for his organisation and meticulousness, Davide earned the nickname 'Wikipedia.' He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genoa, his hometown. Passionate about motorbike travel, Davide sees obstacles as challenges to overcome. As he prepares for the Paris 2024 Olympics, Davide is set to experience the pinnacle of his athletic career.
