Biography
She grew up at the historic Ginnastica Pavia club, where she initially dedicated herself to artistic gymnastics. In her second year of middle school, she then chose to start weightlifting and follow in her father's footsteps, who at the time was competing in masters events. Petite and seemingly shy, on the platform she transforms, managing to bring out all the most hidden sides of her character. She is engaged to Oscar Reyes Martinez, born in Cuba but naturalised as an Italian, who won both the European and world gold medals in the non-Olympic -81kg category while wearing the Azzurri colours. She is no less accomplished, boasting a European silver medal, won in 2022 in Tirana. An artistic young woman who loves yoga and reading, in the kitchen she likes to experiment with various cuisines, especially Mexican and Thai, in addition to playing the flute at the conservatory. She arrives in Paris 2024 to fulfil the dream she has nurtured since childhood, when she lifted a toy barbell in the gym alongside her father.
