Biography
He stepped onto the tatami mat for the first time at three years of age. He quickly got bored and, together with his mother, made the decision to dedicate himself to other sports. Not finding one suitable for him, after accompanying his brother to a training session, he tried judo again, this time without giving it up. He trained at the historic Akiyama Settimo Torinese club and quickly entered the national team setup. In 2022 he won the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Oran and in his senior career he can boast four podiums between Grand Slam and Grand Prix events. From the very beginnings of his sporting journey, he has been convinced that an athlete must set a good example both on and off the mat. For this reason, he tries to always be available for the younger athletes, reconciling his competitive commitments with his own activities as an instructor and mental coach. His motto is 'where there's a will, there's a way' and he, at thirty years old and ready for his Olympic debut in Paris 2024, has always believed in it.
