Biography
Fencing runs in the family: dad Sandro won team gold in Atlanta 1996, then as a coach secured two Olympic medals and an extraordinary series of world and European triumphs that make him the most decorated Italian epee coach of all time. The 2023 Italian Individual Epee champion, the Neapolitan athlete is a huge motorcycle enthusiast. In fact, when he is not busy competing or training, he likes to hit the road, taking his KTM bike out of town. For the 25-year-old, the year in which he played a pivotal role in securing the national team's qualification for Paris 2024 has also marked a series of firsts for him: in addition to the national title, the Neapolitan made his debut among the best at world and European level, as well as at the European Games in Krakow. The Games in the French capital will be his first Olympics.
