Biography
With a Moroccan father and a mother from Campania, he grew up with the legendary superstars of international boxing. He began with karate and kickboxing but eventually chose boxing. This was down to his father, who died prematurely a few years ago. At home, as a child, he would make him watch on his bed what would later become his favourite film: Ali, played by Will Smith. Obsessive in his training and nutrition, his trophy cabinet boasts a European gold and two World Championship silver medals, the most recent one claimed in May 2023 in Tashkent. Along with the two golds at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona 2018 and Oran 2022, these achievements give him even more focus and determination ahead of his Olympic debut in Paris 2024, where he will look to establish himself as one of the main contenders.
