Biography

She came to the sport through swimming, but her coach – to prevent her competitive passion from fading – advised her to exploit her talent by switching to the multi-disciplinary pentathlon. She qualified for Rio thanks to exponential growth and entering the top ten at the European Championships in Bath, where she contributed to the team bronze medal: on her Olympic debut she finished in 7th place, then at Tokyo 2020, with a 4th place, equalled the best result ever by an Italian at the Games (Claudia Corsini, Athens 2004). In 2023 she definitively confirms his presence in the élite of the discipline by triumphing at the European Games in Krakow and winning the first world medal in Bath. The partner of former Italian athlete Nicola Benedetti, her most important prize arrived in 2022 with the birth of Ginevra. In Paris she will have an extra fan to support her.
