Biography
He got on a surfboard at just five years of age and quickly showed what he was made of. As a 16-year-old, he graduated as European junior champion and a year later became world championship runner-up, again at junior level. Also passionate about golf, tennis, football and basketball, he has a YouTube channel with over 16,000 subscribers and his idol is Valentino Rossi, for whom he wears the number 46 on his wetsuit. The first Italian ever to qualify for the World Surf League, he made his Olympic debut in Tokyo 2020, reaching the third round. His results this season, above all his runner-up spot at the Billabong Pipeline Masters in Oahu, Hawaii, earned him a pass for Paris 2024, whose surfing competitions will be held in Teahupo'o, on the island of Tahiti.
