Biography
She reigns as the queen of Italian artistic swimming. She has been swimming since the tender age of 3 and embraced synchronized swimming at 6. By the age of 11, she clinched her inaugural Italian titles, kickstarting an impressive collection of world and European silver and bronze medals. Water is her natural habitat: passionate about cinema and music, she is ready for her third Olympic experience. With Costanza Ferro, she was the protagonist of Vite in apnea, a TV docu-reality recounting the preparation of the two synchronised swimmers for the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona. She lives by punctuality and precision, but foccaccia and the occasional cake with Nutella provide an innocent escape. Her focus is on the Olympics, with the ultimate goal of a podium finish.
