Biography

After years of swimming, dancing and volleyball, she began playing beach volleyball on the beaches of Marina di Ravenna and, after obtaining her accounting diploma, made the choice to dedicate herself solely to it. Among her achievements, which include narrowly missing the podium at the 2012 London Games, the standout achievement is the gold medal at the 2011 European Championships in Kristiansand alongside her partner Greta Cicolari. Since October 2021, she has been competing with Valentina Gottardi, a young, humble woman willing to work hard and listen to her advice. In a short time, they have made giant strides, establishing themselves as one of the teams to beat on the World Tour circuit. To unwind, she relaxes by watching movies or listening to music, and she holds a degree in Languages and Cultural-Linguistic Mediation. At Tokyo 2020, she made history by becoming the first Italian athlete in her sport to boast three Olympic appearances. At Paris 2024, she is ready to write yet another chapter in a saga that has made her increasingly unique at the national level, year after year.
