Biography
Originally from Bressanone, she has been living in Abruzzo for eight years with her partner and coach Simone Mantolini. From her mother she inherited a passion for running and athletics. Later she was advised to take up swimming to correct a back problem and, almost for fun, at the age of ten she tried out the triathlon. Over the years she became one of the fixtures in the national team on the World Cup circuit, as well as a valuable and reliable member of the newly created Olympic mixed relay format. In the future, she hopes to build a family and pass on her love of the sport to the younger generation. In the meantime, however, Paris 2024 will crown her dream of participating in the Olympic Games again. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading and eating pizza. She admires women who forge their own path. This is what she has done with determination – and it has led directly to France.
