Biography
An athlete and a mother. She came to triathlon at 21, almost for fun. After closing the chapter on competitive swimming, she had preferred to focus on her studies, graduating from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, with a degree in restoration. But the love for sports smouldered within her, and with a great passion for cycling, she decided to switch to the triathlon. In 2017, she won a historic bronze medal at the European Championships, and in 2021 she made her first Olympic appearance. A year ago, she gave birth to her son Ettore and, partly thanks to the CONI scholarship awarded to athlete-mothers, she returned to competition with Paris in her sights. In her second Olympics experience, she will certainly have one more fan in her corner.
