Biography
Sport is a family affair for him. His sister Sara, in fact, is the former captain of Napoli's women's football team. He began with swimming and basketball and, in 2009, switched to athletics, dedicating himself primarily to hurdles. After medals and records at the youth level, he realised the efforts of a lifetime at the Tokyo 2020 Games, where he qualified for the 400m hurdles final and helped the Italian 4x400m relay team set a new national record (2:58.81). Just days before departing for Japan, after obtaining his scientific high school diploma and years spent studying the piano, he had the satisfaction of graduating in Management Engineering. Resilient, full of passion and determination, in June 2024 he earned his status at the European level by winning the silver medal at the Olimpico in Rome with a new national record (47.50). In Paris, in addition to winning a medal, he has another ambition: to be an inspiration for all the young people of his region who are striving to achieve their goals.
