Biography

Clay targets have always played a part in her life since she was a small child. At the Rio Olympics she won the gold medal in a thrilling head-to-head with Chiara Cainero in what has come to be known as the challenge between the mamme azzurre (Italian mothers). Indeed, Diana even managed to put her sporting career on hold whilst pregnant, certain in the knowledge, however, that she would eventually return to shooting reinvigorated, and with an Olympic dream that she would later fulfil. A two-time world champion, at Lonato 2019 and Osijek 2022, and silver medallist at the Tokyo Games, the Italian shooter from Città della Pieve is ready to fly to Paris, dreaming of a third Olympic podium.
