Biography
She inherited the passion for the sport from her father Ivan, a former Italian champion, while it was thanks to her mother Monica, who acted as a guardian for her still underage daughter, that she was able to take up shooting. At the age of 20, she already held all the titles an athlete could dream of: an Olympic gold medal, a World Championship gold (plus a Junior one), a World Cup final win and even the European title. Twelve years after her incredible win in London 2012 with a world record of 99 out of 100 clay targets, and an Olympic experience as Italia Team’s flag-bearer at Tokyo 2020, she returns to the Games thanks to the gold clinched in the European Games in Krakow 2023. It will be her fourth Olympics. Remarkable.
