Biography
His first experiences with arms came at an early age. In fact, he comes from a family of hunters. At the age of eight, he discovered the firing range and began to build his fairytale career through method, application and talent. His growth was exponential and, in a short time, he became the pride of Carovigno, his home town. His pistol has always been on target. In 2017, he earned the spotlight by winning silver and bronze junior medals at the European Championships in Maribor and at the World Championships in Suhl, respectively – a prelude to his subsequent achievements among the seniors. Polite, calm and constantly striving for perfection, he has six podiums at continental level in his trophy cabinet, including the two obtained in the summer of 2023 at the European Games in Krakow. Ahead of Paris 2024, for which he qualified by triumphing at the European Championships in Gyor in the same year, he has only one goal in his sights: to put Italy back on the Olympic podium.
