Biography
He inherited his passion for archery from his father and, around the age of nine, realised it was the sport for him. He began wearing the Azzurra jersey as a teenager and, after progressing through the youth ranks, became a permanent fixture in the senior national team. He divides his time between the federal centre in Cantalupa and the facility in Castenaso, where he set up a gazebo and trains hard, shooting between 300 and 400 arrows per day. The winner of the 2022 Mediterranean Games, in the same year he also won the European team gold, and in the summer of 2023, together with his teammates, he triumphed at the European Games in Krakow. Away from competitions, he follows football avidly and is a great fan of Milan, although he also has a soft spot for Bologna, the team from his hometown. He is full of hopes and dreams. And clinching an Olympic medal in Paris 2024 is one of them.
