Biography
The young Roman shows all the signs of becoming a top athlete on the Italian scene. A fencing prodigy, he collected numerous triumphs at youth level, even winning a double gold medal – individual and team – at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games, where he was flag-bearer for the Italian delegation. Although he has been on the piste since the age of seven, his first passion was dance, an activity he chose to pursue further through attending a dance and music secondary school. Both of his passions are related to his older sister, Aurora, whom Davide followed first into dance and then into fencing. The third of the Di Veroli siblings, Damiano, is also a promising newcomer to Italian foil. Davide, for his part, has already won at the individual level a European, World Cup and World Team Championship: he is ready for Paris 2024.
