Biography
In Rio 2016, she was the first Italian boxer to participate in an Olympic Games. In Tokyo 2020 she won a stunning bronze medal. The 23-year-old from Torre Annunziata, nicknamed “The Butterfly”, was destined for greatness. Her passion for boxing blossomed at the age of 12 thanks to her sister Lucia and she immediately enjoyed a string of achievements. Her boxing trophy cabinet includes two European gold medals and one World Championship gold, the latter won in March 2023 in New Delhi. Later in life she plans to continue her career in the police force, but first she has to rewrite the history of the discipline, floating into the ring at the Roland-Garros Stadium in Paris.
