Biography
For him windsurfing is a family tradition. His father, Vasco, a former champion in the discipline, is an icon on Lake Garda, where he runs one of the most famous schools in the world, together with his wife Gabriella and their two eldest sons. He began competing at the age of seven and immediately showed immense talent, combined with a remarkable spirit of sacrifice. He took advantage of the pandemic to abandon RS:X for good and get to grips with the iQFOiL, the new Olympic flying sailboard. The results soon followed. His golden year came in 2022, when he won the Under-21 World Championship in France, the Mediterranean Games in Oran and the European silver medal in Torbole. The following year he would again made his mark in Patras, where he managed to make it to the top in Europe. In the summer he took part in the World Championships in Holland, where he won bronze and the quota pass for the Paris 2024 Games, fulfilling his Olympic dream.
